If you live in Powai Mumbai and you are searching for a good Physics tutor, then the simple question is: why are you still searching? If Physics is not happening properly, if numericals are not getting solved, if concepts like infinite ladder network, resistance combination, current electricity, capacitor network, mechanics, EMI, waves or modern physics are creating confusion, then you should contact Kumar Sir immediately.
Powai is one of the most educated and premium areas of Mumbai. Students here live in good societies, study in reputed schools, attend coaching classes, watch online lectures and buy expensive books. Still, many students face one common problem: when a conceptual Physics question comes, the mind becomes blank.
Infinite Ladder Network Concept
Suppose an infinite ladder network is given with repeated resistors like 1 ohm, 2 ohm, 1 ohm, 2 ohm again and again. Many students become afraid after seeing the word “infinite”. But Kumar Sir explains that there is no rocket science in it.
The main idea is very simple: because the network is infinite, if we remove one repeated section from the beginning, the remaining infinite part still looks exactly like the original network.
So we assume the equivalent resistance of the whole infinite network as R. Then we take out the first small section, and the remaining part is again infinite, so its equivalent resistance is also R. After that, we connect this remaining R according to the circuit and solve the equation.
The golden funda is:
Assume total resistance = R.
Remove one repeated unit.
Remaining infinite network = R again.
Now use series and parallel combination.
Solve the equation and take the positive value.
This is exactly like the infinite power expression:
y = x^(x^(x^(x…)))
The upper infinite part is again the same, so we write:
y = x^y
Same logic applies in infinite ladder networks. We take one branch separately and assume the remaining infinite network as R. Once this idea is clear, the question becomes very easy.
Why Powai Students Need Kumar Sir
Many students in Powai prepare for NEET, IIT JEE, CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, IB, A-Level and AP Physics. But they often study Physics like a formula subject. They remember formulas but do not understand where to apply them.
Kumar Sir teaches Physics from the root level. He explains why current flows, why potential is same in parallel, why current is same in series, why resistance changes, and why the remaining infinite network can again be treated as R.
If a student understands this pattern, infinite ladder questions become simple. Physics is not about fear. Physics is about logic, pattern, imagination and step-by-step thinking.

B------o------o------o
Solution: Let equivalent resistance be R.
After first 1Ω, remaining network = R.
So, R = 1 + (2R)/(2 + R)
R(R+2)=R+2R+2 → R²+2R=3R+2

How Students Study Physics in Mumbai
Mumbai is a fast-moving city. Students here are busy with school, coaching, projects, competitions, travelling and online classes. Many children study in CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, A-Level, Edexcel and other boards. But one common problem remains the same: Physics becomes difficult when students only memorise formulas and do not understand the concept behind them.
In Mumbai, many students are preparing for NEET, IIT JEE, CBSE Board, ICSE Board, IB Physics, IGCSE Physics, A-Level Physics, AP Physics and Edexcel Physics. The demand for Physics is very high because Physics is required for medical, engineering, research, aviation, data science, robotics, architecture, design, technology and many modern career fields.

Why Physics Becomes Difficult for Mumbai Students
The biggest problem is not that students are weak. The real problem is that Physics needs visualisation, logic, diagrams, mathematical thinking and step-by-step reasoning. Many students watch videos, attend coaching classes and read notes, but still they cannot solve new questions in the exam.
For example, in Mechanics, students may remember formulas of motion, but they do not understand why acceleration changes velocity. In Electricity, they may remember Ohm’s law, but they get confused in series-parallel circuits. In Magnetism, they may know the formula, but they do not understand direction, flux and induced current properly.
Mumbai students are smart and hardworking, but they need a teacher who can explain Physics from the root level. A good Physics tutor must connect formulas with real-life examples, diagrams, numerical practice and exam-oriented questions.
